Katy Perry, an American musician and singer, was born in a strict conservative home. After singing in church during her youth, she aimed to make an interest in gospel music as a teenager. Perry loved all sorts of music despite the fact that her parents did not allow it, because she was always drawn to music. She was quite a vocal individual who pursued her dream to become a musician. However, she didn't achieve much success at the beginning and encountered a myriad of difficulties before gaining her first break. It was necessary to put a lot songs on hold prior to being signed by 'Capitol Records. Thus, she was launched as a singer and never was able to go back after. Her next album, "Teenage Dreams", which enthralled a lot of music enthusiasts and made it one of the top albums ever. The album set records in numerous ways and cemented her place as a well-known performer. Perry's philanthropic work is not just known for her work as a writer and singer however, she is also known for the many albums she's recorded. Perry is an LGBT rights activist.
