Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The shadows she observed in the grass inspired her to develop the technique that, however, did not paint the selected object onto canvas. When the objects are alive or perishable like fruit and even people and other objects, they are transformed into paintings of them. The transient nature of her art style is apparent and what survives in Alexa Meade's work is the photographic image. As the photographic and painting techniques are coordinated so closely, the end result is the trompe-l'oeil effect where the illusion of three dimensions can only be seen at specific locations, like the region around the eyes or the hair. Meade sometimes incorporates painted models in the space surrounding them. It allows them to be part of the world that she created. It eliminates any distinction between photography, painting, and installation.
